RE: The Idaho Hospitality Education Foundation

The original concept for this was for a different company all together ILRA scroll to the bottom. They decided to go another rout but I kept it in my portfolio. My new client really liked it and I told him that the previous company decided to go another rout. He asked if he could use the logo with a couple of different tweaks. And that's how it's ended up so far. I've found that these companies with these long names are really hard to do logos for, at least for me.

I have to agree with you that the graphic is dominate in the designs other than alt 1 and alt 2. I think that in large format it would work OK... however, in business card format forget about it. I did come up with another alt for a business card Business Card.

RE: MyDatingSite.com

Good catch on capitalizing the S in Site! The site name "MyDatingSite.com" is just a generic name I slapped in. The client asked for a dating logo but has not come up with a website name as of yet. So I just came up with that one to "fill the void." I'm still glad you caught that though because It does look funny since the other two words are capitalized! Thanks!

RE: Cody Rayl Photography

I’d have to agree with you on this. #4 is probably my favorite as well. Simple but effective. I was having some fun with number 3 and if you look closely at it (or turn your head to the right) you’ll see the little “Stick figure” (as it’s been referred to by several) is actually his name (Cody) spelled out… if you can’t see it here’s the breakdown: Subtle.

RE: Wood and Laine

I’ll mark down a vote for number 8! Thanks again.
