For
SEO reasons, is it worth having mutiple domain names, 301 redirected to the same site.
I have a client that has a bunch of domain names that have good keywords in them. They would like to point them to the same site. They currently use all these domains for email addresses that fit a particular topic related to the subject of the site.
My thought is to point all of these to the same website and do
SEO based on the keywords of each domain name.
Example
For an Oakland A's baseball site.
I would have a domain name related to Oakland, baseball, maybe pitchers name, maybe a sponsors name etc.
All of these would be promoted for the keywords that relate to the domain name.
Would this really be of benefit?
