I have always been a great fan of Google but this has dropped them way down my list. I know and know of so many people that have serious problems with Godaddy and this will drag down Google in terms of professionalism, etc.

just one example:
I was recently asked to urgently build a web site for a customer. We wanted to move the domain from Godaddy to Network Solutions where I can manage it. They refuse to move his domain name for two months because he recently tried to cahnge his email address! I say tried because he was actiually unable to do it due to the fact that the field in the Godaddy form would only accept short email addresses.

Now the site is on hold, possibly scrapped. I don't see why Godaddy should hold customers domain names hostage like this. It is very unprofessional and appears to be an outright scam. He will of course move all the other domain names he registered with Goddady as soon as possible and never return.

I will be looking at alternatives to Google for search and ads, etc. This news has me worried.
