Default Making money with affiliate companies

Being an affiliate manager gives me a little insight into this topic.. The affiliates I have making money are very good at applying relevant offers to relevant content... I think the misconception is that if you put up banners on your site you will make money through clicks, sales, leads... etc. That may be the case for some but for most, looking at ways to create revenue through all marketing methods gives you a better chance of creating higher revenue. Are you using your newsletter to create revenue...? Are you using banners with products relevant to the content on the pages where they are displayed...? Can you create buzz about an offer...? I have an affiliate that created a chart to try and get 1000 kids fed through our Children International Offer. His little graph states "Help me feed 1000 children this holiday season." He is very close to meeting that goal this month and he gets a commission on every signup. Sometimes, thinking outside the box on how you can literally market offers on your site will help increase revenue as well... I personally work with all my affiliates to come up with the best approach on what we can do create more advertising income for them. I work for a performance based CPA network so if my affiliates arent making money, neither am I.
