Default moving to uk server and .co.uk domain ?

Hi all,

I know there has been alot of talk recently about being dropped off the uk google index myself being included.

I am moving to a dedicated server from a shared and have a .com domain.

I am relaunching my site with thousands of new content pages in the new year. I was going to just move to a uk server to get back into the uk google index. But there has been alot of different opinions about even that working.

There fore i am considering setting up my new site as a .co.uk domain in uk server.

Thing is i want to initially target europe. Does this mean i have to set up all other country domains and hostings in other countries to get into there index's ?

What about the .eu domain ? does anyone have any experience with this ? is it included in all europe index's etc ?

How do companies get around this?

one a different query :
I also am launching a directory under a sub domain does anyone know how long it takes to get into index etc for new sub domains. is it even advantageous ?

Please tell me of your experiences and opinions of these 2 above queries.

Sorry about the long post!

Best Regards
Richard Moss
