Yes, i.e. MacIntosh. Then consider the overwhelming popularity of Macs in academia (and publishing) while the other 92% of the world and 100% of businesses depend upon PCs.

Google APIs are not proprietary, special or unique. They do not represent a long-term solution in education . Likewise, Bill Gates is the first to admit that the Web is not a replacement for books.

Education is better served by wise teaching instead of avant-garde gimmicks and entertainment.
