Rocky,
Nice friendly site, I like the fishing page, even though I've never been fishing in my life. The background image works well, although the pictures bump into the text on the left.
If you want to get into web design, I would suggest making a separate page and getting some ideas from sites you like in terms of design and function. Things like the little fishing boat are fun on your own site, but will look like bad clip art on a professional site, I'd also be careful of using a bold seraph font with text that small, my eyes hurt a bit.
I think good design is a lot about personality and that really comes through, but you also need to recognise where you can use expert help, which I wouldn't presume to know.
If I was going into web design for other people, I'm sure I'd need help with certain aspects of code and programming etc in order to provide for each customers needs.
If you can source the people to fill the gaps, you can keep doing what you're best at, and with your friendly approach, could do nicely.
Good luck with it,
James
