Yup, and the times between coming and going are sometimes a week, sometimes a 1/2 year.
They lost control over their SE. There's no reason to flip the results every week for the biggest SE. If a site is ranking at position 5 and a week later 500 then there's not much you can do about it. And if you do something then it's possible you're doing something wrong. If you were ranking at 5 you did something wright so when changing your site you're probably doing it wrong.
If Goog drops you out then you can nothing do to come back. Nothing.
