Oh, I definitely have some thoughts there!
The "Green Bar" in the Tool Bar is not reflective of current status!
One of the most important advantages of being listed in DMOZ is that "
PR" (aka "Real
PR") is updated much more often in the Google Directory at directory.google.com .
Anyone that relies on the Google Toolbar ("Public
PR") either isn't listed in DMOZ, and subsequently, the Google Directory, or simply doesn't know better. That includes anyone looking to purchase links.
How does this whole link purchase game work if and when no one even knows where the real source of current
PR is anyway?
