I am so bad at explaining things it is unbelievable.

I'll try again more simply:

I am in two minds wether to block the off-topic sections from search engine bots/crawlers (especialy google with only 100 page cache...if that is the case)so that more important pages get indexed which are more keyword rich and specific to our site.... i want to know wether this is a good idea or would make none or little difference (or maybe even harm our rankings).

If anyone has any knowledge about this specific question then please let me know.
