NEVER jump in with both feet. You will find that you landed in a ditch. Direct Marketing experts wil all tell you test, test, test, then test again. It is easy to generate keywords, and find that many give you garbage clicks. Test and track keywords, ad copy, etc. until you find what is worthwile to invest that kind of $$ on.
You can easily blow that amount and get just a few conversion, or you can invest in a tested campaign and make that investment back many times over.
Google gives you the most bang for the buck, with the most mature audience. We got stung by Y! affilliate PPC programs, so be careful.
