I guess I misunderstood the purpose of this forum and I may have misled everyone. This is a logo I paid a professional to create and I was interested in getting feedback on what folks thought about the colors, effectiveness, etc. But I do appreciate hearing from actual logo designers. I can change the background in Photoshop, but as Eagle Imagery pointed out, it DOES lose something when reduced.
