The element that I immediately noticed, and found to be a negative, was the offset "Gourmet Foods" - that is, it's left aligned to "Monty's". Everthing else about the logo displays a center-alignment. Were it me, I'd first try redoing "Gourmet Foods" with a cursive-style, slashing typeface, slightly larger than the current size, but still smaller than Monty's, and of course, center-aligned under Monty's. Or, redo Monty's with a cursive font and center-align Gourmet Foods with a sans-serif font.

P.S. I didn't see the second link while I typed out the above until after I finished, and voila, you did something along the lines of what I mentioned with your logo5send.jpg. I personally like some of it, but I liked the riot of color of the first, and I'm not sure about the inconsistent cursive font of Monty's.
