Oh I hear you and I feel your pain. I have 2 and 5 year old girls (yes, I know I'm screwed).

I hate the Wiggles.
I hate Barney.
I hate Teletubbies, Blues Clues, Dora, Franklin, Little Bear, 64 Zoo Lane (that song makes me want to puke), Maisy, Miffy, Max & Ruby, Miss Spider...

I hate them all. Bland, humorless, lobotomized celluloid abominations says I.

Except for Spongebob. He's pretty funny.

I watch him when the girls aren't home sometimes. (Did I really just write that?)

Fortunately, when I upgraded the satellite package a few months back I started getting Boomerang. Boomerang plays all old cartoons. Stuff like the Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry, old (good) Warner Brothers stuff etc etc.

Now my girls watch the cartoons I watched. They still like a couple of the others (Dora mainly) but the vast majority of that cracker-dry, politically correct, inane drivel they used to watch is behind us now.

Except for Spongebob. He's pretty funny.

But to answer your question... No. Sadly, there is no cure for their wretched little themes and songs. They haunt me to this day -and I haven't seen a second of one in months. You just gotta smash 'em down in that little hole deep down inside of you with everything else you hate.

That's what I do anyway.

Except for Spongebob. He's pretty funny.
