A lot better! Nice one.

Just a few points;

It doesn't fit the 800px viewing width, try 760px instead

Design-wise it's a lot more interesting than your previous version. However I find the nav icons a bit fuzzy, especially the small ones top left and the 'Quick Search' button. The new photo with nice deep contrast emphasises the rather palid colours of the icons. You could strengthen them by increasing their contrast. I also think you could also make the sub-head backgrounds and light grey text slightly darker to match.

Looks like you designed to 1024x768 because at 1280x1024 there is a pale green band at the bottom of the home page. I suggest you increase the depth of gradient.bmp to at least 1024 and while your at it make it a jpeg which will half it's file size and also be cross-platform (non windows). Presently you've stretched that gradient from 363px to 1024 and I think you'd get better results by having a fixed size. I'm not keen on that unsubtle fade to grey, looks a bit murky at the bottom. I suggest you play around with the darker green.

Craig, you've done a good job but there are still a few hang-overs from the old site. I like the new bolder and more casual look, go for it!
