Hi Marvin,

After thorough testing, I've concluded that Tuesday (which means Monday before Midnight for Tuesday 12:01 distribution) and Wednesday appear to achieve the greatest number of clicks and pickups of any of the days.

Friday night (for Saturday 12:01 pickup) seems to do the best for international pickups (this is based on my experience as a Yank doing PR for international companies).

Caveat: if there's an event happening that has worldwide pickup (ex. Hurricane Katrina) then adding the term "hurricane" to your keywords can create some good pickup, if used judiciously and not out of context of your release.

An example is this press release I did late last year for a software program we created to develop smarter press releases. Originally we used the term "Hurricane", but after felt that the more subtle "whirlwind" was a better fit.

Here's the example: A Whirlwind of Creative Solutions - How eXpertLingo Inspires the Human Mind.

Also: We keep an eye on ALL of the viable online and offline PR services, and have consistantly found that PRWeb.com outperforms them all by many factors (I'm doing a competitive matrix as we speak... but as an example, one firm claims to have the same reach that PRWeb does, when in fact they are actually 1/20 the reach as shown by Google, Yahoo!, Alexa and Dogpile in terms of search results and other key online metrics).

Just a hint.

So, in summary:

1) Tuesday and Wednesday for best numbers overall.

2) Saturday for UK and international

3) PRWeb for maximum distribution of your message, if it's working to drive traffic and Online Visibility.

best of success!
