That appears to be an oversight at the moment. They allow you to turn them on and off, but not delete. I hadn't ever thought about deleting, but an interesting problem.

I think the issue with deleting is that some data has been collected against any goal that is set up, so they would have to figure out what to do with that data. Instead, they just don't allow for deletion.
