Default Maxed email inbox

Hi - I'm using Outlook for my mail and have just been informed by my system that I have exceeded the allowed limit on my mailbox.

I have divided my Inbox into various client folders and any email received regarding that client gets put into that folder.

Now it looks like it's real filing time. I'll have to clear those mailboxes out. Some have graphic attachments to those emails which I would ideally like to keep with that particular email because often a client will come back and refer to that old email.

If I choose to save the email to a client folder on the hard drive - it ends up as a text file and then it's hard to take a look through old stuff - plus the attachment gets saved separately. Also the date I save the email as a text file ends up as the date I see in my filing - so it's difficult to look back at an old email with a particular date. Has anyone got any ideas/suggestions for filing emails?

Ta!
