Just an assurance that they'll spider your entire site on a set schedule (I think it was every 48 hours). You'll pay for every click from the organics with their PI program. It'll make no difference in rankings.
If you've got some money to burn, it's worth a try. After all, you could make changes and see the results within 48 hours. However, the PI results aren't included in their feeds to other engines.
