Thanks for your help. I know there were fees for the general API, but I swore there used to be a fee for the affiliate API also. But then again, maybe I just misread something.

But at least, if we get some to clarify this for sure, then everyone will benefit and know about any fees that are related to the eBay Affiliate API that they will encounter (if any).
