The stall you are seeing is caused by the rest of the page loading. As I think someone has already mentioned, add a few seconds to the first frame in the movie. This will allow the page to finish loading before the Flash animation appears to start.

The issue is compounded because your static images comprise about 55kb of file size. Try compressing your images. The page is over 75kb in size. Aim for a page that is closer to 40kb in total. This is another example of why faster loading is better. By the way, I'm using a broadband connection.
