Yes, I believe that having content, keyword relevant words in your url / file structure is important. However, just like most things, it can be overdone, so proceed with prudence.

Here's an example I recently gave in another thread that makes the point, I think:

"Garden Web Forums" search in Google - the #1 result you'll see has these words bolded in the Title, Description and URL structure showing that Google found it relevant.

Content is still king don't forget - but it can certainly be well complimented.
