While I personally love xhtml and css and am very excited about continuing to learn to design this way now and in the future, the bottom line is that these are all just tools and just like anyone doing any job, we have to choose the best combination for that particular job.

I will continue to try to sell my clients on the benefits but if they simply don't care or more likely, just don't have the money to spend, I will do the job ask of me to do with those most appropriate tools and yes that will mean I will still use tables at times.

On the upside, I can still use tables (NOT nested *grin*) with css and all the other tools at my disposal.

Narasinha: Boy it's been years since I have stolen code but I do look at a lot of it and now that I have learned xhtml and css all my new projects I write my own code and no longer rely on WYSIWIG.

I also agree that most IE hacks can be avoided by taking another approach. Besides it leaves a bad taste in my mouth *wink*
