As long as you're working locally (so you've got a safe backup on the server), I'd go ahead and try the drag. The worst that can happen is that you'd have to Get the original file from the server. If it does work, you've saved a lot of troubleshooting!

Was your index page open when you were doing the other changes?

And I guess, if the updates are working, is there really a problem leaving it the way it is?
