Default Dreamweaver: Error accessing file...bad file path

"Dreamweaver can't pull information from a file that doesn't exist. You need to have the file with the correct path on your local computer to use the template. You don't need it on your remote site. The changes are done locally, saved and then "put" to the remote host."

The template is existing within the web on my computer. It is also on the server within the web. Is that the correct location for a template?

The web file on the computer no longer contains an 'htdoc' file. I have done 'save as' into the web folder to make sure there is no reference to 'htdoc' in the file path.

When I try to update the entire site, it gives me that error code. It's like DW has only remembered the old location of the template on my computer and won't let me tell it to remember its new location.

I've noticed that all my web pages show broken links to the template with this being the broken link for all of them: /htdocs/Templates/Hank's Cabs 2.dwt

The link should read: /Templates/Hank's Cabs 2.dwt

I don't know how to fix these broken links. I'm stumped on this one.
