Sure. It gives the look of being cluttered because there's not much design continiuty. Your Flash header at the top is very glossy and snazzy, but doesn't tie in very well with the bright, white background, as well as the jet black text (you need to change the font face as well).

The two 'featured sites' boxes on each side box in the text a bit, especially as there's not much else in those columns, apart from the 'leave a message' image on the left hand side, which incidentally, you should probably re-size so that it matches the rest of the column in terms of width.

If I were you, I'd shift over the featured boxes to one side of the page (right or left, whatever you prefer), and put one above the other.

The little flash animation at the bottom of the page isn't particularly appealling, you should probably consider cutting that out altogether, but it's up to you.
