I'm in the same boat, I'm a developer too and frequently search for technical documents and code samples.

At the moemnt though I still thing Google shades MSN on these types of searches (not much in it)

But MSN is far better when searching for shops and products than google which seems to prefer the big directories rather than going straight to products.
