Default A useful experiment

As a developer, I guess I run just about as many searches per day as most do (I have never counted, but there are quite a lot, be it scripts, documentation, whatever). Today I decided to run my own experiment:

USING MSN FOR ONE DAY INSTEAD OF GOOGLE

Personally, I've found the new MSN Search to beat Google hands down on everything I have looked for (I seem to be spending a lot less time actually looking through page number 2, 3, etc to get what I want).

I noticed (as you can imagine) MSN still doesn't show as many results as Google, which I guess can leave problems when you are searching for a specific phrase especially. All the same I was rather impressed realising I can usually find what I want faster than I can with Google.

For now, I will be using the new MSN on a daily basis (obviously if things don't work out, I can beg Google to take me back). It does really make me wonder if Google is past the days of "It's best to do one thing really, really well.
".
