I'm very new at trying to get listed at Google. I am also experiencing some of the problems mentioned in this topic.

I had two one page sub-domain pages that were listed very nicely at Google using very specific keywords. Both sites were listed where there were only approximately 1000 other pages listed under Google's results.

But, they WERE listed. One was #1 for about three weeks, the other #20.

Now, for reasons beyond my understanding, all Google shows is a "link" to both pages. This happened about 5 or 6 weeks ago also.

I have a couple of large web sites that have never ranked very well at Google, or many other major Search Engines. So, in an effort to try and learn how to make my main sites more relevant and acceptible, I decided to use small one page sites, sub-domains which point to very specific keywords that hardly anyone else creates sites about, so that I can better learn how to produce sites that are more informational and relevant to potential visitors.

Some of these have done very well. BUT, everytime I get something that seems to be working decently at Google, and before I get a chance to study it, I get eliminated from the search results.

I'm not sure if it's worth the time.

BTW, while I am in learning mode:
What is a BLOG???
What are Inbound Links and Outbound Links???

Anyway, I'll keep trying.
