Microsoft offer a lightweight download that you can add to your existing Word 2000 setup.
The
Office HTML Filter is a tool you can use to remove Office-specific markup tags embedded in Office 2000 documents saved as HTML.

A useful tip I thought, for anyone who doesn't have access to Dreamweaver. I haven't tried it out myself, and it's only for Word 2000, but some folks may find it comes in handy! :o)
