Default Relevance is irrelevant now!

Time and again Google vs Yahoo! comparision is made with much statistics to prove one's point. But is there any standard measuring yardstick used by the both all the time. Time changes, demand increases; both for their own survival and ofcourse to beat the competition, go on change every rule they framed for their optimization.

But where the difference begin? Ere, it is all $$$$$. Because of such a vast dBase, Google pulls more money than the Second in rank. Just each display of results bring them more ads than they earn through their own banner ads.

A day is not too far, Yahoo might come closer to the Number one; Yet, I feel, Google's position not going to be challenged, atleast for now.

Where in I get 3rd & 4th position in Google, among 2000 plus sites, Yahoo! lists me as Number Uno. But herein the total number of listing counts around 25% less than that of Google.

One more interesting question. If more than one million sites are listed, does anyone think that every Searcher will browse through all the pages listed in the SEs?

To be honest, I tried for specific key word and found listing more than 1,000,000 entries. Out of curiosity, I tried to browse thru about twenty pages, and the links goes automatically cut. Despite my repeated attempts and trials, this was happening with Google only.

So what is the use one's listing beyond a specific limitation!
