I no longer bother with Yahoo or Google for searches.
I find IX Quick Meta Search far better:
http://ixquick.com/

It searches multiple engines and only supplies the most relevant listings.
Generally you will only see around 30 websites relevant to your search as opposed to thousands or even millions on Yahoo or Google.
