Based on what I’m reading today however, it appears as though there isn’t going to be any such thing any time soon. Although many considered the development of a browser to compete with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer to be the next logical step after email (Gmail) and desktop search (Google Desktop Search), Google obviously feels differently. In an interview with the Financial Times, Google chief exec Eric Schmidt said plainly; “We are not building a browser”. I guess that’s that then huh?
