Hi I read the article and the posts here.
I have been using RSS technology since
Jan of 2004.
My whole business turned around is all I can say.
Before RSS:
As the owner of a web hosting company I found myself in a very fierce competitive market place and it didn't seem to matter how much I spent on sales copy, traffic or anything else, it never produced sales.
I could not afford Google adwords as the keyword web hosting could run as high as $19,000.00 a DAY to advertise there!
So lots of money going out and little in return.
After RSS:
SALES.
Need I say more?
Look the problem as I see it when it comes to Blogs is the fact that they are just an island like all the websites on the Internet.
Sure you can produce a feed, but then someone has to have the correct reader to actually read the feed.
(I found out early on that Qukonnex supported multiple
formats so almost anyone could read your feed with their own reader or by using the Quikonnex system itself which works really well.)
Now after some research and a lot of gentle proding by my good friend Trina Schiller of the Trii-Zine Ezine I finally looked at what she wanted me to look at.
I wish I had done it sooner.
Not just a Blog.
Quikonnex is RSS media rich living breathing community of online business owners who are all using RSS in the most imaginable ways and it is working.
In just three days of this month I have produced a sale a day for my hosting company.
Needles to say RSS can triple your traffic, your subscribers and possibly sales.
However if you do it with out the community and training and support that I have only seen available at Quikonnex then you find it more difficult to create, maintain, advertise and syndicate.
Remember what syndication did for I Love Lucy or the Dukes of Hazard? How about M.A.S.H.?
Well click the links to see how you can now use RSS to your hearts delight! Without being a techie which the part I liked the most.
Instead of going on and on here is a short list of the RSS technology I have been using since the beginning of the year.
Decide for yourself.

That channel for FrogSearch can be found here.

Notice the feed coming from the Ads-On-Q channel.
Be sure to check out QuikView.
If you are on the fence about RSS. Nows the time to jump off and get yourself a Blog whether it's from Quikonnex or if you decide to build and maintain one of your own.
It's worth it in every sense of the word.
Just remember it is a tool. Content it still king and remain so. Do the keyword research for your business and use them to write articles for your channel.
Works for me.
